Sonny Perdue, governor of Georgia, is getting desperate. The state is in the middle of a long drought, with no end in sight. So the governor gathered some pastors for an “inter-faith” prayer meeting outside the capitol building, with one prayer topic on the list: please send rain. The event was billed as “inter-faith, but the only ministers to show up were Protestant.
