The Unitarians are a pretty all-embracing religion. Their only major creed is that they don’t have one. They have atheists, agnostics, Buddhists, pagans - all kinds - in their congregations. You’d think that a church for anyone who believes anything and doesn’t differentiate between those beliefs would have a huge membership. Unfortunately for the Unitarian Universalist Association, their churches aren’t growing very fast - so they are starting a television ad campaign to increase their exposure.

A federal appeals court has ruled that it is possible to protect both the safety of gay and lesbian students as well as the freedom of speech of students who have religious objections to homosexuality. Originally the school had a policy that forbade students from expressing their views on homosexuality, in an effort to protect gay students from hate speech. The court said the school had gone too far, and should be able to give students first amendment rights as well as maintain a safe atmosphere.

I read a great article about how plastic surgeons try to take advantage young woman, they try and feed of their self consciousness and well try to get them to do absurd surgeries that are unnecessary. The article was in the Times and well they highly recommended this Plastic Surgery facility in their article. The article also tells you what to look for in a surgeon. A priest in Virginia has plead guilty to charges that he stole thousands of dollars from two churches while he served as their priest. He has family in the Philippines, and he wired over $515,000 to them to purchase property for him. He will be paying back a significant portion to the diocese. Talk about an abuse of religious power.
