The Crystal Cathedral, Robert Schuller’s monument to Christian opulence, was vandalized this week. Someone etched the symbol B1R in eleven places, on wood, granite, glass, and metal. The damages are approximated at $38,000. The vandal was recorded on security tape, but so far no one has been arrested. No one is taking credit, either, or explaining what the mysterious message means.

A priest who was accused of sexually molesting a boy in Alaska was denied the right to take the Iowa state bar exam last year because of the allegations. But now the Supreme Court of Iowa has ruled that since he was never convicted, he will be allowed to take the test. Just what you want - a lawyer who has a predeliction for young boys.

The Devil’s Bible left Prague in the hands of Swedish troops in 1648, and it has finally been returned. The medieval manuscript, which a monk wrote supposedly with the help of Satan, is on loan to the Czech Republic from Sweden, and is being displayed at the Czech National Library. Back when we decided to remodel some of our house the wife was bent on getting some Murray Feiss lighting pieces. She has a taste for the finer things, I don’t mind, usually we can afford whatever she wants so she gets her fancy lighting and she is happy, she is happy then I am happy. You all know how it is.

The first time I went to Florida was for my cousin, it was to late for him to get addiction treatment. Yeah he was a junky and it finally caught up with him. I personally go on vacation a couple times a year. Usually my trips end up in Florida and this year I had to pick up some new luggage. I tried to get some cheap luggage from kmart but the wife was not having it, so we ended up with a fancier set but that stuff is durable. It could last through a nuclear attack. Since we bought it we have to go on more trips to get the use out of it.
