I have always wondered why these ardent Christians are so obsessed with gift-giving? I mean, I enjoy giving and getting stuff as little as anyone else, but these people have taken it too far. Weddings and funerals have both become commercialized with gift-giving. I even heard a Catholic family giving out invitations, hoping to garner funds using the veil of first communion gifts put suspiciously on invitations to said event. I don’t know sometimes, man.
