What do all religious fanatics have in comon?
Tuesday, January 16th, 2007over at yahoo answers they asked the question and got a ton of responses lol. here is the answer that was chosen, but there is alot of funny ones.

Some unanalyzed aspect of their psyche has been harmed in some way and religion has jumped in to fill the vacuum and unconsciously avoid dealing with the issue. Their wounded selves see the world as a place to attack and be attacked and they then project this outward onto a deity whom they worship. Their identity is so fragile that this new thought system becomes their lifeline and they fanatically protect it and promote it, knowing somewhere in their minds that it’s made of nothing and will disappear if looked at with reason.
